You are examining a patient with a history of temporomandibular joint (TMJ) pain. During the examination, you notice that the patient is having difficulty closing the mouth against minimal resistance. This would suggest weakness of all of the following muscles EXCEPT:

1. Medial pterygoid

2. Lateral pterygoid (inferior head)

3. Masseter

4. Temporalis

The solution will be posted in a few days
