You are teaching a caregiver how to use a wheelchair in the community for their client. How would you teach the caregiver to move a wheelchair down a curb when no ramp is available?
1. With the patient strapped in and the patient facing forward, lower the caster wheels off the curb, and then the large wheels
2. With the patient facing backward, lower the large wheels off the curb and then tip the chair back enough to clear the caster wheels.
3. With the patient facing forward, tip the wheelchair back so that the caster wheels are in the air, and then lower the chair off the curb
4. With the patient strapped in and the patient facing forward, lower large wheels off the curb and then the caster wheels

The solution will be posted in a few days.
