Urticarial, Purpuric, and Vascular Reactions Diagnosis

Acute hemorrhagic edema of infancy. This striking disorder occurs in infants between 4 months and 2 years of age. The sharply circumscribed lesions favor the extremities and are edematous, ecchymotic, and purpuric. Edema of the ears and eyelids may also be noted.
