Digital fibrous tumor of childhood. This is a rare fibromatosis that starts in infants either as a single nodule or, less commonly, as several nodules. Parents may be alarmed by the rapid growth of the lesions. Digital fibrous tumors usually occur on the dorsal and sometimes on the lateral aspects of the distal phalanges of fingers and toes.
